What image file types does PaintMyFoto accept through its site?

You can upload JPEG, TIFF or PNG file formats of your FOTO on our website.

I have an image file type not supported by your uploader (i.e PDF, RAW). What do I do?

Contact us for alternate instructions, we can provide you with a link to our FTP site.

Can I send in a picture, negative of slide for you to scan instead?

Yes no problem we will scan/create a positive. Please do mention in the instruction page that you will be sending the hard-copy my mail.

What is the maximum file size you can accept through your website?

We support file size as large as 10MB. If you have a file larger than 10 MB, please let us know and we will provide you with the FTP details wherein you can upload the file.

Can you fix my image if it is pixelated?

We can help reduce the pixilation with creation of painting. But before we commit we will have to have look at the Foto. .

What is your privacy policy with regards to the use of my images?

We are firm believer of your confidentiality and privacy. We will not use your FOTO other than for developing creative and printing the creative. We will use your artwork on our website and social media sites to promote our work only with your prior permeation. Also as part of our policy we delete your FOTO after completion of order within 3 months’ time period.

Can I use another different image than the original I had submitted?

Please contact us ASAP since our team of experts would have already started working on the image you would have provided.

What size image file is required to make the best possible portrait?

Typically a file size of 2 MB or greater is good for us. Remember better resolution will help create a better result.

How much of my image will I lose if I choose the photo wrap option?

It depends on the print size you choose, normal we use 1-2 inches frame depth of gallery wrap but our creative team will take care of image and try to use full.

Do you offer creative sizes any bigger or smaller than the options on your website?

Yes we do, please contact us for additional information.

What mediums do you print on?

We do print on Canvas or Archival paper (depend what style you choose) with archival ink.

Do you have other color options for FOTO frames other than black and brown?

We provide customer with an option to get a creative without a frame (roll canvas/paper). You could choose the frame of your choice.

What kind of laminate/protection do you add to the prints?

Every artwork we create is print on canvas/archival paper with archival ink, it is treated with an ultra-protective UV. This means your print will never crack, flake, fade or bubble.

My Painting got damaged upon arrival. What do I do?

We take special care while packaging the painting. Though the painting is damaged on arrival, don’t worry we will send you a re-print. We would want the pictures of the damage so that we can infer what might have happened. contact us with pictures.

I'm not happy with the painting I received, how do I go about returning it?

We don’t want you to go without being 100% satisfied. Let us give it one more try by re-printing it. If you still believe you don’t want the re-print and would like to opt for a refund please contact us.

How long does it take to receive my creative?

Once you order, our artist will take 3-5 business day to work on order and deliverer you digital proof,ones you have approved the proof that your receive from PaintMyFoto it takes 1-2 business days for production and post-production, 3-7 days for standard shipping. You can also shorten the shipping time my using the overnight shipping option (chargeable) this will allow you to receive your creative in 1-3 business day(s) based on your location.

When do I receive my free digital proof?

You will receive your proof in 3-5 working day(s). Based on the proof you receive you can either write back to us with comments or simply approve it for taking it to production.

Can I change my shipping or billing address?

Yes, but not once we have already shipped. To change your shipping or billing address please contact us

Why do you charge my credit card before my product has been produced?

We do a custom creative development for you and it’s imperative for us to get payment before we start the development. We ensure a 100% guarantee that you like the creative.

I cancelled my order, though I haven’t seen a refund on my credit card?

It can take up to 7-10 business days for a refund to process through your credit card company. Contact us if you still have not received the refund.

do you allow bank transfer ?

Yes we do. pls. contact us for bank transfer we will provide bank detail to transfer money

I need my painting by a certain date, what do I do?

While placing the order please provide special instruction of the date you would want the creative to be delivered. Depending on the date we might need to do an overnight express shipment so that it arrives in time. Please do contact us at info@paintmyfoto.com with details about your order.

Will you send me tracking information once my canvas has shipped?

Yes, we will provide those details as soon as we have shipped.

Who do you ship with?

Standard logistic companies like DHL and FEDEX.

Can I hang it outdoors?

We strongly recommend against having the creative hung outdoors. While the creative have coatings/laminations for protecting it from direct heat/moisture we don’t encourage since there are chances of color deterioration.

Can I hang my artwork in a moist or humid area?

As the creative uses paper/canvas that have a natural tendency to shrink and swell with respect to changes in temperature or humidity, it should not be hung in a moist or directly over a heat source.

Do you provide any special mounting instructions for the creative?

There are no special instructions and the creative with frames come with ready-to-hang option. We recommend you choose the size of the creative based on the location you would want to hang the creative. You will need a nail/hook in the wall.

How do I clean/maintain my painting?

The best way to clean the canvas is with a soft duster.
